Job summary

As a Payment lifecycle manager in our payments operations team, you will lead efforts to improve day-to-day payment processing, strengthen controls, and streamline the end-to-end payments lifecycle. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues, reduce operational risk, and deliver consistent outcomes. You will help identify opportunities to automate manual work and improve how we measure performance and service.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead payment lifecycle operations by setting priorities, directing workflows, and tracking performance against defined metrics
  • Manage daily processing and reconciliation activities to support timely and accurate fund movement across supported products
  • Resolve production, quality, and control breaks; escalate material delays or risks appropriately and drive actions to closure
  • Strengthen operational risk management by supporting fraud prevention activities and reinforcing cybersecurity and control practices
  • Partner with stakeholders to scope and deliver process improvements, automation initiatives, and client experience enhancements
  • Contribute to strategic planning by translating business priorities into operational capacity, execution plans, and measurable outcomes

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 2 years of experience in payment operations leadership or people management, with responsibility for workflow execution and performance outcomes
  • Experience overseeing payment processing activities, including investigations, reconciliations, exception management, and time-critical deliverables
  • Demonstrated knowledge of payment operations processes, controls, and issue management practices in a regulated environment
  • Experience using data analysis to identify trends, communicate insights, and support decisions with senior stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity and anti-fraud controls relevant to payment operations, including how to identify and escalate potential threats
  • Experience using automation tools or techniques to reduce manual work and improve quality, timeliness, or client experience
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to support operational problem solving and process improvement (where applicable)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience with ISO standards for payment messaging and/or SWIFT message processing
  • Experience supporting payments, cash operations, or treasury operations, including controls and structured problem solving
  • Experience with global payments and an understanding of accounting and money movement processes
