Manager - Business Development

We are building out a world class business development team here at aCommerce and require people who excel in fast paced, performance driven, customer facing environments. We are the leading ecommerce enabler in ASEAN and are in an exciting growth period at which you will be working with the key decision makers of global brands on a daily basis, ensuring that we exceed their expectations as well as establish long term relationships. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to educate clients about our companys services in order to increase sales and develop strong relationships with new clients as well as maintain relationships with existing clients. 

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Execution & Pipeline Ownership: Drive the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation and prospecting to proposal development and contract closing—to consistently hit revenue targets.
• Commercial Strategy & Analytics: Monitor commercial metrics, perform market research, conduct scenario modeling, and track performance against budget, volume, and KPI targets.
• Client Acquisition & Retention: Develop deep, trust-based relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring their commercial objectives are met for maximum retention.
• Cross-Functional Onboarding: Partner with internal teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Tech) to ensure new clients are onboarded smoothly, on time, and within budget.
• Governance & Documentation: Draft and manage client agreements, SLAs, and ensure complete compliance with company financial and transaction policies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, corporate business development, account management, or lead generation. 
• Industry Domain: Background in E-commerce, Digital Marketing / Advertising Agencies, Retail, Distribution, Trading, or Logistics.
• Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Philippines retail/e-commerce landscape (Regional SEA experience is a plus).
• Commercial Acumen: Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to translate sales data into strategic business recommendations.
• Cross-Functional Ability: Excellent stakeholder management with experience bridging internal operations and client needs.
• Communication: Exceptional English verbal, written, negotiation, and C-level presentation skills.
• Professional Demeanor & Executive Presence: Personable, approachable, and highly articulate, with a strong ability to build trust and rapport quickly with internal teams and prospective clients.
• Accountability & Ownership: Highly responsible, dependable, and self-driven, with a proven track record of managing tasks independently and seeing complex sales deals through to completion.
• Good networking channels in various brand / industry
