Job summary

As a Portfolio and Performance Analyst in the Performance and Attribution Reporting team, you will support day-to-day delivery of performance measurement, attribution reporting, and analysis while advancing a consistent global approach. You will partner with technology, compliance, and controls stakeholders to improve data quality, strengthen governance, and implement strategic solutions. You will help build a center of excellence that improves efficiency, transparency, and consistency across reporting.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the team’s day-to-day performance measurement and attribution reporting activities across multiple asset classes
  • Deliver monthly fund and client performance reporting with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and consistency
  • Apply industry-standard performance calculation methodologies and tools to support consistent reporting outcomes
  • Validate and reconcile investment account returns and related inputs to ensure completeness and data integrity
  • Monitor data quality by comparing results across sources and investigating breaks and variances
  • Implement and maintain data quality controls and procedures to mitigate operational risk in performance reporting
  • Analyze and quantify changes in performance attribution and clearly communicate drivers and impacts to stakeholders
  • Present performance and attribution insights to senior stakeholders and facilitate working discussions as needed
  • Maintain and enhance performance measurement systems and databases to support evolving reporting requirements
  • Define business requirements, support test planning, and coordinate user acceptance and production testing activities
  • Support controls, regulatory deliverables (as applicable), and ad hoc analysis and projects aligned to business priorities

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3 years of overall work experience, including at least 1 year in performance measurement, performance attribution, investment reporting, or a closely related role 
  • Experience prioritizing work independently and delivering outcomes under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to document and communicate quantitative and complex business requirements clearly
  • Experience partnering effectively with technology teams to translate requirements into implemented solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to groups and leading discussions
  • Experience working effectively with stakeholders across levels of seniority and across geographies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (for example, pivot tables, lookups, and structured data analysis)
  • Experience with portfolio performance reporting and investment products
  • Project delivery experience supporting process improvement, controls, or technology change
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Japanese language proficiency
  • Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes
