Senior Accountant

About the Role

We’re seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's dynamic finance team supporting the Philippines and US-based operations. This role demands a seasoned professional who can lead end-to-end finance functions, ensure compliance, and deliver accurate financial insights in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local tax regulations

• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Implement and maintain internal controls and process improvements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies

• Mentor junior accountants and contribute to team development

Qualifications

• CPA license is mandatory

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or BPO setting

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

• Willingness to work night shifts aligned with US business hours
