Responsibilities

• Stay updated with current floral design trends and seasonal flowers.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering new stock as required to meet demand.
• Ensure the store and work area are clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Arrange flowers for a variety of settings including weddings, funerals, and corporate events.
• Coordinate with suppliers to secure best pricing and quality for flowers.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Train and mentor junior florists or assistants as needed within the team.
• Prepare and manage budgets and quotes for large scale orders or events.
• Promote floral products through marketing initiatives and customer interaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Florist or in a similar role in floristry.
• Strong creativity and artistic ability to design unique floral arrangements.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work on weekends and holidays as needed by the business.
• Knowledge of different flower types, handling techniques, and care requirements.
• Good physical stamina for standing long hours and handling floral supplies.
