The Role

The ABC is looking for a Digital Producer to deliver compelling, high-impact stories that inform, challenge, and inspire audiences across digital platforms, strengthening the Four Corners brand.

The Job

• Produce complex digital content and interactive storytelling.
• Sub‑edit copy, timely and accurately, guiding journalists.
• Provide creative and editorial direction to the Four Corners team.
• Uphold top editorial, legal and copyright standards.
• Create high‑quality digital content using ABC systems.
• Use analytics to shape stories and adapt to new platforms.
• Work with internal and external teams on innovative storytelling.

About You

Youll have:

• Tertiary qualified or equivalent experience as a senior digital producer.
• Experience in delivering original, high‑impact, multi‑platform journalism using advanced production techniques.
• Strong editorial autonomy and creative judgment to drive Four Corners story development.
• Meticulous, fast, accurate sub‑editor: corrects and rewrites copy to the highest standards; provides clear feedback and guidance to reporters.
• Extensive understanding of web standards, accessibility and SEO principles
• Skills in gathering, interpreting and applying digital analytics to guide Four Corners’ digital output and strategy.
• A demonstrated and ongoing interest and passion in finding and telling stories that reflect Australia’s diversity.
