What Youll Be Doing
In this varied and hands-on role, you will deliver efficient, high-quality administrative support that enables the Cardiology service to function seamlessly.
Manage front-line administrative services including calls, messages and appointments
Coordinate patient bookings, interpreter services and clinical correspondence
Maintain accurate and confidential health care records and data
Support meetings, training sessions, rostering and reporting requirements
Oversee office resources, equipment issues and general administration

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs.
Demonstrated experience and skills using a variety of databases for activities such as procurement, people management, contract management, patient management systems and patient billing systems.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with high level inter-personal skills in communicating effectively with senior personnel, departmental managers, staff and patients.
Capacity to work flexibly and efficiently within a multidisciplinary team environment or unsupervised.
Demonstrated organisational skills with ability to manage several projects currently.
Experience in preparation of written communication, such as reports, agendas and minutes.
Experience using an array of office equipment such as fax and photocopier.
Experience in administration with a preference for candidates with a previous experience working in administration in a health setting
