We are seeking an Associate SEO Content Specialist who can produce content for our team for both our internal and external teams.
As An Associate SEO Content Specialist, Your Responsibilities Include
I. Content Production & Support
Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread standard written assets such as blog posts, website support copy, and email content following established style guidelines.
Content Refresh Support: Assist the Senior Specialist in conducting content audits and executing minor edits or updates to existing content to improve freshness and accuracy.
Fact-Checking & Sourcing: Ensure all written content includes accurate references and adheres to the firm’s standard for technical credibility.
III. Social Media Management & Marketing
Social Media Copywriting: Draft compelling, platform-specific copy for all social media assets, including attention-grabbing headlines, engagement-focused hooks, and concise captions tailored for an advisory audience.
Content Distribution: Adapt long-form content into platform-specific social media posts (Meta, LinkedIn, X, etc.) to drive traffic and engagement.
Social Scheduling & Execution: Manage the social media editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent posting cadence.
Community Monitoring: Monitor social channels for mentions, comments, and messages; flag high-value engagement opportunities or technical inquiries for the Senior Strategist or Sales team to address.
Social Marketing Trends: Stay updated on social media algorithm changes and best practices to suggest creative ways to increase brand reach and followership.
III. Organic Execution & Optimization
On-Page Implementation: Execute all required on-page SEO tasks for published assets, including optimizing meta descriptions, title tags, image alt text, and internal linking under direction.
Keyword Brief Execution: Utilize competitive analysis and keyword data provided by the Senior Specialist to inform content outlines and topic focus.
CMS Publishing: Manage the accurate publishing of content within the Content Management System (CMS), ensuring correct formatting and tagging.
IV. Collaboration
Paid Campaign Support: Assist in the textual content creation and basic setup for paid social campaigns and Google Ads, ensuring ad copy aligns with organic messaging and brand standards.
SME Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of content review cycles, collecting feedback from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and ensuring changes are implemented accurately.
Style Guide Adherence: Ensure all content adheres to the MarComm editorial style guide and brand voice.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in professional writing, content creation, or SEO implementation.
Exceptional command of grammar, style, and copyediting, with a clean, professional writing portfolio.
Foundational knowledge of SEO principles and tools (e.g., Google Search Console, keyword research tools).
Experience publishing content in a Content Management System (CMS), e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, Contentful.
Experience writing technical or advisory content within a B2B or corporate environment.
Knowledge of content structuring for readability and conversion.
