Senior Bookkeeper AU Account

Are you a Bookkeeper with at least 5 years of experience managing Australian accounts? Do you know how to use Xero? Can you ensure the quality of work in accordance with Australian accounting regulations?

We need a Senior Bookkeeper (AU Account) to join our team and oversee our client’s Australian accounting operations. This role requires a deep understanding of Xero and the ability to maintain accurate financial records. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in Australian accounting!

As a Senior Bookkeeper (AU Account), your duties and responsibilities include:

• Oversee both internal and external team members involved in bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Review Business Activity Statements (BAS) before submission and ensuring accuracy through bank and general ledger reconciliations.
• Handle payroll processing and ensuring BAS compliance.
• Generate regular reports for management to inform business decisions.
• Perform comprehensive monthly bookkeeping and reporting tasks from start to finish.
• Set up new client accounts in Xero and converting existing data files into the Xero format.
• Other ad hoc tasks as required by the client.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Has at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience using Xero.
• Proven experience with Karbon, XPM, Teams & Xero Tax will be highly regarded.
• Strong financial and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and multi-task effectively under pressure.
• Takes ownership and delivers results with a strong sense of accountability.
• Resourceful and demonstrates initiative.
• Willing to be assigned to either Clark or Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
