We need an Occupational Nurse cum HR/Admin Assistant who will be responsible for responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy workplace while providing vital support to the HR and Administrative teams.

As an Occupational Nurse cum HR/Admin Assistant, your duties and responsibilities include:

Occupational Health & Safety

  • Provide immediate first aid and emergency medical care for workplace injuries and accompany employees to medical facilities when necessary.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) health standards, safety laws, and internal company policies.
  • Develop and lead wellness initiatives (e.g., smoking cessation, nutrition, mental health awareness, and exercise programs).
  • Act as the primary liaison for HMO providers; coordinate Annual Physical Exams (APE) and assist employees with medical benefit claims.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential electronic medical records and document all workplace illnesses/injuries for reporting and research.
  • Conduct regular workplace assessments to identify environmental hazards and oversee disaster preparedness/emergency response planning.

HR & Administrative Support

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Admin division, including inventory management of medical and office supplies.
  • Counsel employees on health-related concerns and guide them toward Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) or community resources.
  • Support the HR team with recruitment, onboarding, and employee record maintenance, as needed.
  • Perform other administrative or HR-related tasks assigned by the Senior Manager to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • BOSH or OSHA certification is a plus.
  • Exposure in the BPO industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Proven ability to handle high-priority, competing tasks with accuracy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for reporting and staff interaction.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of professional ethics.
  • Willing to work onsite at Subic Bay Freeport Zone Office.
