Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Strategic Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for purchasing of materials and services according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is onsite.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.
• Supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
• Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.

Qualifications For The Role

• University degree, good technical knowledge is preferred
• Exposure to supply chain management and production environments, with familiarity in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Solution-oriented team player with strong problem-solving, time management, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
• Strong English communication skills—both written and spoken
