Job Summary

The Accounting Assistant is primarily responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA) in ICBS. Prepares various reports related to ROPA transactions.

Key Responsibilities

A. Daily Transactions

1. Maintenance of ICBS Loan subsystem for the booking and sale of ROPA.

2. Prepares entries for the booking and sale of ROPA

3. Prepares balance workstation and GL batchsheet

4. Responsible for the booking and reversal of ML and AR

5. Responsible for the recording and updating of expenses related to ROPA

6. Properly and regularly files and safekeeps reports and documents assigned to him\her.

7. Attends to queries from various Units.

B. Reportorial Requirements and other functions

1. Prepares and ensure accuracy of internal and external reports

2. Prepares the Statement of Account for Pricing, Redemption, Buy back and for Third party buyer.

3. Prepares History and Application of Payments

4. Prepares the Certificate of Full Payment and Collateral Release Advise

5. Prepares FVOCI - Mark to Market Schedules

6. Prepares BAP report on Foreclosed Accounts.

Qualifications

- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting; experience not required

- Must possess good communications skills, computer literate and can work with minimum supervision

- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas
