Job Responsibilities

  • Create and update Acceptance Test Procedures for electrical and electronic assemblies.
  • Ensure ATPs comply with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
  • Perform functional, continuity, insulation resistance, and operational tests on electrical systems (e.g., CFE, ACOU, USBOU, control units).
  • Validate test results against specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Select, verify, and validate test equipment (testers, harnesses, scripts, fixtures).
  • Troubleshoot and identify defective test equipment and coordinate calibration or replacement.
  • Provide on-site electrical support during production, troubleshooting failures and nonconformances.
  • Support production lines during first article, pilot run, and ramp-up activities.
  • Investigate electrical failures and intermittent issues.
  • Coordinate with customer representatives and external suppliers when required.
  • Train technicians and operators on ATP execution and proper use of test equipment.
  • Provide guidance on electrical workmanship and testing best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, reliability, and cost.
  • Support standardization of test methods and equipment across production lines.
  • Perform contract and program readiness checks to ensure all required test equipment is available, configured, and functional three (3) days prior to production start.
  • Perform setup, configuration, and validation testing of test equipment required for production line operations.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of electrical test equipment such as multimeters, torque drivers.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and reporting tools.
  • Ability to perform wiring harness checks, continuity testing, and functional verification.
  • Capable of troubleshooting electrical defects and documenting findings.
  • Prepare test reports, non-conformance reports, and validation documentation.
  • Familiar with ATP documentation processes and revision control.
  • Good communication skills for reporting to engineers, managers, and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
