Toyota Motor Philippines is seeking an Outbound Transport Planner to join our Vehicle Logistics – Distribution Planning and Control Department located at the Santa Rosa Vehicle Center in Toyota Motor Philippines City, Philippines.
As a key member of the Transport Planning Team, the Outbound Transport Planner
is responsible for ensuring the availability and optimal utilization of transportation resources to support vehicle distribution requirements. The role oversees transport capacity planning, special transfer scheduling, dispatch strategy development, and coordination with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to maintain efficient, reliable, and cost-effective transportation operations
Your role and responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and implement cost reduction initiatives related to outbound transportation operations while maintaining service quality and delivery performance.
Monitor transportation utilization, routing efficiency, and resource deployment to maximize operational productivity and minimize logistics costs.
Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance transport planning, dispatch execution, yard operations, and overall logistics efficiency.
Consolidate and analyze daily truck availability reports from Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and compute estimated delivery capacity to support distribution requirements.
Monitor transportation resource readiness and ensure adequate capacity is available to meet daily delivery schedules, special transfers, and peak volume requirements.
Develop and execute dispatch strategies to ensure the timely and efficient movement of vehicles to dealers, vehicle centers, satellite yards, and other designated locations.
Manage and coordinate special transfer requests, including inter-hub transfers, inventory balancing activities, promotional events, overflow yard movements, and other business-critical transportation requirements.
Collaborate closely with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to align transportation plans, address capacity constraints, and ensure smooth execution of dispatch schedules.
Monitor transportation performance indicators, capacity utilization, and dispatch execution to identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities.
Provide data-driven recommendations to support management decisions related to transportation planning, resource allocation, and logistics optimization.

You are a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with specialization in Information Technology; Operations Management, Management Engineering

Skills required:
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external logistics partners.
At least one year of relevant experience in logistics planning, transport operations, distribution, or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Power Query, and data analysis tools.
Skilled in scheduling optimization, routing analysis, and simulation to support effective decision-making.
A tenacious team player who demonstrates accountability, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
