Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for a Government & Industry Affairs Specialist to join our Corporate Affairs Group based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
The Government & Industry Affairs Specialistis a member of the Government & Industry Affairs Team that is responsible for handling government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs and industry engagement.
Your role and responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze political, regulatory, economic, and industry developments that may affect business operations and strategic objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulators, LGUs, industry associations, and other external stakeholders.
Lead coordination and implementation of government-related initiatives, including regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and project monitoring.
Develop policy assessments, research, and reports to support management decision-making.
Support customs, importation, and regulatory matters by coordinating with relevant government agencies and stakeholders.
Represent the company in industry associations, business groups, and advocacy initiatives.
Oversee donations, sponsorships, and partnership activities with external stakeholders.
Our perfect match:
You have a bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Business Economics.
Previous exposure to government agencies, industry associations, policy research, regulatory monitoring, or stakeholder engagement is preferred.
You are capable of obtaining information and identifying key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision; committing to a course of action to accomplish a long-range goal or vision after developing alternatives based on logical assumptions, facts, available resources, constraints and organizational values.
You are capable of clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
You can identify opportunities and take action to build strategic relationships between one's area and other areas, teams, departments, units, or organizations to help achieve business goals.
You have achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas and are keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise.
Skills required:
Preferably with policy, economic and industry analysis experience
Excellent English written and verbal communication.
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint knowledge.
Willing to work on extended hours and go on official business trips.
Must be willing to work in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
