Bidding Analyst

Purpose of the Role

The Bidding Analyst is responsible for reviewing, validating, and identifying accurate technical specifications of pharmaceutical products required for government bids. The role ensures compliance with bidding criteria, pharmaceutical regulations, and account requirements by evaluating medicine specifications, regulatory documents, and product eligibility. This position plays a critical role in achieving bid qualification and supporting government channel sales targets.

What Youll Do

• Review and analyze government bid opportunities to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct accurate technical specification reviews of pharmaceutical products, including generic name, dosage strength, dosage form, route of administration, packaging configuration, storage requirements, and shelf-life requirements.
• Compare bid specifications against the company product portfolio to determine eligibility and compliance.
• Conduct internal bidding evaluations and identify the Lowest Calculated Bid (LCB), Lowest Calculated Responsive Bid (LCRB), Most Economically Advantageous Responsive Bid (MEARB), or Most Advantageous Responsive Bid (MARB) as applicable.
• Review and validate bid documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity prior to submission.
• Ensure strict compliance with Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) requirements and prevent overbidding.
• Verify compliance with the Philippine National Formulary (PNF) and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
• Evaluate pharmacological classifications and therapeutic equivalence of products to support accurate bid matching.
• Maintain accurate product import updates and bidding documentation records.
• Support the achievement of government channel sales targets through successful bid qualification and submission.

What Will Make You Successful

Must-Have

• Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy).
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug regulations, healthcare compliance, and medication management.
• Knowledge of government bidding processes and pharmaceutical documentation requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Advantage to Have

• Experience in pharmaceutical bidding, tender management, or regulatory affairs.
• Familiarity with the Philippine National Formulary (PNF) and government procurement requirements.
• Knowledge of technical specification review and bid qualification processes.
• Experience reviewing regulatory and commercial documentation.
• Strong documentation management skills.
• Understanding of therapeutic classes and pharmacological product classifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
