The Frontend Developer is responsible for designing and delivering modern, high-performance web interfaces and user experiences using React and Next.js. The role focuses exclusively on the frontend layer of the platform, translating UX/UI designs and business requirements into accessible, responsive, and composable UI components. The developer works within a layered architecture (Frontend → BFF → Message Bus → Adapters), consuming BFF APIs and collaborating closely with Full-Stack and Backend developers to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experience across domains.The developer contributes to secure, scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions following modern engineering and DevOps practices.

Your role

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve React components using Next.js and TypeScript
• Implement pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive UI components based on UX/UI designs
• Collaborate with the UX Designer on UI implementation and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Work closely with Backend Developers, Digital Excellence, UX/UI and IT Core teams in a lean, agile environment
• Write and maintain technical tests (unit, integration, e2e) to ensure reliability, security and performance
• Design and deliver AI-powered software solutions, leveraging Claude, Claude Code, Codex or similar and modern engineering best practices
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and architectural discussions
• Mentor less experienced developers
• Follow the Definition of Done and team coding standards
• Implementation and fulfillment of the safety manual’s requirements
• Implementation and fulfillment of the personnel handbook’s requirements
• Implementation and fulfillment of the regulatory requirements
• Acts as a role model in accordance with the Corporate Values of the Ivoclar Group.

Requirements

Hard Skills:

• Strong experience in Frontend Development
• Experience in React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Expertise with modern frontend tools such as Tailwind CSS or similar design systems
• Solid understanding of consuming and integrating REST APIs
• Solid expertise of Testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
• Deep understanding of web performance principles and optimization techniques across the full rendering lifecycle
• Experience with modern development tools and a strong interest in leveraging AI to improve development workflows
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong experience in Frontend Development

Professional

• Bachelor or Master Degree in IT Technology, or Business Informatics
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development
• Excellent understanding of System integrations, software development lifecycle
• Proven experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and related tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence,etc.)

According to the collective agreement, this position offers a gross annual salary of €XX,XXX on a full-time basis and will be significantly higher depending on professional experience and qualifications.

This position is subject to the minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry, based on 38,5 hours per week. The amount of the overpayment depends on your professional qualifications and experience, as well as the labor market in Vorarlberg.
