The role of Research Coordinator is a full-time non-attorney position within Asurion’s Legal Regulatory Team. This individual has responsibility for analyzing consumer issues related to Asurion’s business and products, issue spotting and managing multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player, with strong attention to detail, excellent issue-spotting skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and strong time management experience. Experience with Asurion’s business, client programs and business processes is a plus, but not required. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience. This role is fixed Night Shift.

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates good analytical skills and judgment to evaluate factual and qualitative information in complicated or novel situations.
  • Must be able to analyze issues, research customer transactions and identify resolution path.
  • Proven track record of establishing and meeting SLAs (deadlines) in high volume work streams and must be able to prioritize and communicate questions to Supervisor, Senior Manager, or Regulatory Counsel.
  • Develops thorough understanding of Asurion’s client programs, business processes, and key stakeholder relationships to advocate positions appropriately.
  • Establishes strong collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders, and drives communication with client teams, underwriter teams and agency contacts.
  • Must be able to utilize resources, have good organizational skills and adhere to deadlines and resources.
  • Must be receptive to regular coaching/feedback and be able to pivot as needed.
  • Actively seeks operational understanding and implications of initiatives.
  • Must strive to gain a working knowledge of Portable Electronics Insurance (PEI), service contract and ancillary product development that impact Asurion’s business.
  • This position requires in-office attendance (Nuvali) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Qualifications:

  • College degree strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Past experience interacting with customers will be considered a plus.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively understand, consider and address the client or business needs while mitigating risk exposure.
  • Must possess strong judgment, confidence, collaborative problem-solving skills, and ability to spot potential issues quickly.
  • Must be highly organized and process-oriented, with direct experience in establishing processes, protocols, and evaluating the integration of technology to create work efficiencies.
  • Must have proven track records of managing priorities and high volume workstreams.
