What is this role about?

The Oil Movement Personnel is responsible for managing and overseeing the operational processes of measuring and monitoring tank and vessel inventories, performing regular inspections and maintenance of terminal facilities, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This role includes conducting soundings of storage tanks, taking product samples for lab analysis, assisting with vessel and truck operations, and maintaining accurate and timely reports. Additionally, they ensure proper handling of terminal equipment, manage inventories of tools and spares, and assist in preventive maintenance activities to keep terminal operations running smoothly.

What will YOU do?

  • Conduct tank sounding before service, manage opening/closing inventory, determine available stocks, and assess product gain/ loss
  • Maintain a complete IMS forms such as the Daily Sounding Report and Product Sample Tags ensuring accurate data entry and sample submission to the lab
  • Coordinate with Foreman/ Terminal Officer on tanks to be used, open service gate valves, and perform water draw-offs and recovery of good product
  • Assist in vessel and truck receiving/ loading operations, ensure correct hose connections, gate valve lineup, and validate volume computations for accuracy
  • Monitor ullage on receiving tanks to prevent overflow, and complete necessary IMS forms like the product movement monitoring and product transfer forms
  • Collect and submit product samples from tanks, vessels, and trucks for lab testing, ensuring product quality and traceability for customer and terminal safety
  • Perform flow meter and probing tank calibration assist third-party calibrators, and ensure proper drainage and handling of transfer hoses and residual products
  • conduct routine inspections of terminal equipment, report defects or abnormalities and assist with preventive maintenance or repairs as required
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for terminal tools, spares, and consumables, and update regularly for requisitions and repairs
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and environmental safety practices at the terminal, including PPE compliance, leak prevention, and reporting of incidents or asset defects.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

What will YOU need?

  • Open to fresh graduates of Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field
  • Physically fit - willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedule
  • Willing to be assigned in Santa Cruz, Davao
