Integration Developer

App Connect Enterprise (ACE):
- Proficiency in using IBM ACE (formerly known as IBM Integration Bus (IIB)):
- Understanding of IBM ACE architecture and components
- Experience with message flow development using IBM ACE Toolkit
- Ability to create message models and message sets
- Knowledge of IBM ACE runtime environments and deployment options

Message Formats and Protocols:
Understanding of various message formats and protocols commonly used in integration solutions, including:
- XML
- JSON
- SOAP
- RESTful APIs
- MQ (WebSphere MQ)


Message Transformation:
Experience with message transformation techniques using IBM ACE, including:

- Data mapping and transformation using graphical mapping editor or ESQL (Embedded SQL)
- Use of message maps and message domains

Error Handling and Exception
Management:

Ability to design and implement error handling and exception management strategies in IBM

ACE message flows, including:
- Error logging and reporting mechanisms
- Retry mechanisms for failed messages.
- Dead-letter queue handling

Connectivity and Adapters:
Knowledge of IBM ACE connectivity options and adapters for integrating with various systems and applications, including:
- Database adapters (e.g., JDBC)
- File adapters (e.g., FileInput, FileOutput)
- HTTP/S connectors
- MQ connectors


Security:
- Understanding of security concepts and best practices for securing IBM ACE integration solutions, including:
- Authentication and authorization mechanisms
- SSL/TLS encryption
- Secure communication protocols
- Data encryption and decryption


Performance Optimization:
Experience in optimizing the performance of IBM ACE integration solutions, including:
- Tuning message flows for improved throughput and latency
- Load balancing and clustering configurations.
- Monitoring and profiling tools for performance analysis
