Job Description

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Staff Attorney on behalf of our client, a well-established civil litigation firm in San Francisco. This is a full-time, direct-hire role offering a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal document review teams and coordinate discovery-related workflows
  • Draft document review protocols and provide attorney training and supervision
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist in motion and complaint writing
  • Prepare attorneys for meet-and-confer conferences and expert witness designations
  • Attend and assist in depositions and fact investigations
  • Draft deposition summaries and assist with client communications and document productions
  • Collaborate with paralegal and executive assistant teams to ensure calendar alignment and workflow efficiency
  • Organize, edit, and prepare trial and deposition exhibits
  • Coordinate trial logistics and litigation support activities
  • Maintain document databases and manage electronic discovery retrieval

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active California State bar membership in good standing
  • Familiarity with state and federal court rules, procedures, and electronic filing systems (ECF)
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

This position offers an annual salary between $120,000-$160,000 in addition to bonuses and a full benefits package.
