Minimum Requirements
General Qualifications:
Be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines
Secure a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Professional Experience:
Possess 0-2 years of experience in UX/Product Design (internships, bootcamps, or personal/academic portfolios qualify), with an understanding of what it takes to design for production applications
Demonstrate the ability to support the design process for small features or user flows, working closely under the guidance of senior team member
Show excitement for and active participation in design critiques, stakeholder reviews, and development handoffs to learn team workflows
Technical Skills:
Possess foundational proficiency in core design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch) to create basic wireframes, mockups, and low-to-mid fidelity prototypes
Understand basic user research methodologies and demonstrate a willingness to assist in executing activities like user interviews, unmoderated testing, and survey data collection
Have a basic awareness of HTML and CSS to better collaborate with engineers and understand general design constraints
Specialized Knowledge:
Demonstrate a foundational understanding of core usability principles and user-centered design methodologies
Show an understanding of the end-to-end design process, from initial ideation and wireframing up to high-fidelity UI
Exhibit familiarity with using an established design system and a willingness to learn how to properly apply existing components
Good To Have
An interest in or basic awareness of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
Exposure to designing for multiple platforms (web, iOS, or Android) via coursework or passion projects
Basic exposure to motion design or micro-interactions
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Requirements Definition:
Analyze user behavior, needs, motivations, and pain points to inform design decisions
Create and refine user personas, empathy maps, and user journey maps based on research findings
Identify key user problems and opportunities for design intervention
Information Architecture and Interaction Design:
Design intuitive and logical information architectures for digital products (sitemaps, navigation flows)
Create user flows and wireframes to illustrate interaction patterns and user journeys
Define and document user interface specifications and interaction behaviors
Ensure consistency in design patterns and user experience across product features
Apply principles of human-computer interaction (HCI) and usability best practices
User Interface (UI) Design and Visual Communication:
Develop high-fidelity screen designs that align with brand guidelines and user interface standards
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of visual designs
Maintain an understanding of current design trends and visual aesthetics
Prototyping and Testing:
Develop interactive prototypes of varying fidelity to test design concepts and validate solutions
Analyze usability test results, identify usability issues, and propose design improvements
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing outcomes
Collaboration and Communication:
Provide constructive feedback in design critiques and receive feedback openly
Advocate for the user throughout the product development process
Design System Management and Governance:
Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and evolution of the design system
Ensure adherence to design system guidelines across products and features
Accessibility and Inclusivity:
Design user experiences that are accessible to all users, adhering to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards
Incorporate inclusive design principles to cater to a diverse range of users
Process Improvement and Best Practices:
Continuously research and apply new UI/UX design methodologies, tools, and best practices
Contribute to the improvement of the overall design process and team workflows
Stay updated on emerging technologies and user experience innovations
This is a full-time position following the 9 AM to 6 PM Manila schedule.
