TECHNICAL DESIGNER LANDSCAPE ENGINEER

Felixx is an international, award-winning landscape architecture firm dedicated to building a sustainable world. Founded in 2014, the firm has grown into an enthusiastic team of 40 designers, researchers, and engineers. To continue growing, deepen our knowledge, and broaden our field of work, we are looking for a technical designer or landscape engineer with a minimum of 5 years of work experience.

About The Role

As a technical designer at Felixx, you will work on all design phases, from early concept development to the technical detailing of public spaces — including residential neighbourhoods, parks, roof gardens and urban squares. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary design team and experienced project leaders. Our projects are located both in the Netherlands and internationally. We value our informal working environment and expect everyone to contribute their expertise and experience to the content of the projects we work on.

Your profile

• graduated as a landscape designer or landscape engineer;
• 5+ years of professional experience as a technical designer or landscape engineer;
• an open, enthusiastic, and inquisitive work attitude;
• affinity for multidisciplinary collaboration in an international team;
• experience in detailing and technical development of public space designs;
• familiarity with design processes in Preliminary Design (VO) and Detailed Design (DO) phases;
• proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD and Adobe Suite;
• strong communication skills in English; a basic knowledge of Dutch is advantageous;
• available for at least 32 hours per week;
• preferably residing in the Rotterdam area.
