Machine Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating the Fine Shine CONV process according to approved work instructions and process parameters.
• Perform proper loading, processing, unloading, and handling of parts to prevent damage and contamination.
• Conduct visual inspection and identify surface defects or abnormalities during the process.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Record process and production data accurately and report abnormalities to the Supervisor or Process Engineering.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
• Support process improvement activities and other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
   

Education & Experience

• K12 graduate or equivalent; technical or vocational training is an advantage.
• At least 1 year of relevant manufacturing or production experience, preferably in optical processing, polishing, inspection, or precision manufacturing.
• Experience using Digimatic calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools is required.
• Basic understanding of dimensional measurement, inspection methods, and measurement accuracy.
• Willing to undergo training and qualification for the Fine Shine CONV process.
   

Skills

• Basic knowledge and experience in using Digimatic and precision measuring tools.
• Good attention to detail, especially when checking part dimensions and surface condition.
• Ability to follow work instructions, process specifications, and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of measurement and inspection requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to learn and follow the required Fine Shine CONV process.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules and support 24/7 production operations

   

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Requires prolonged standing during production activities.
• May require lifting and handling materials weighing at least 3 kg.
• Requires proper handling of precision optical parts and measuring instruments.

• May require shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, and holidays depending on production requirements.
