Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Event Manager, you will:

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of live events and promotional campaigns
  • Support event logistics, setup, scheduling, and operational planning
  • Work alongside the Event Manager to manage budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Help oversee event staff, brand ambassadors, and volunteers
  • Engage with event attendees to deliver excellent customer experiences
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional and marketing materials
  • Monitor event activity and help resolve on-site issues as they arise
  • Provide administrative support, including reporting and performance tracking
  • Collaborate with the wider team to improve event strategy and execution

  • Are highly organised with excellent multitasking abilities
  • Are enthusiastic about events, marketing, and customer engagement
  • Can work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required

  • Previous experience in events is beneficial but not required
  • A qualification in event management, marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential
