We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting and Finance Manager to join our team. The Accounting and Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of the accounting function within our shared service environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and providing leadership and guidance to the accounting team.

What are your responsibilities?

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and initiatives.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party service providers.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience working in a shared service environment or similar centralized accounting function is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Oracle or SAP is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
