The Vendor Account Manager is a critical role within our organization where you will be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with our vendors to ensure mutual success and growth. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
  • Conduct regular reviews of vendor performance and offerings in alignment with business goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements that benefit both the organization and the vendor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure vendor services meet business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through vendor partnerships.
  • Manage vendor onboarding processes, ensuring smooth integration with company systems.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular meetings to discuss vendor performance and expectations.
  • Monitor industry trends to leverage new vendor opportunities and partnerships.
  • Address and resolve any vendor-related issues or discrepancies swiftly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance of vendors with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports on vendor activities, performance, and contract status.
  • Support cross-departmental communication to maximize the value of vendor relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in vendor management or account management roles.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills are necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess vendor performance critically.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for vendor relationship management.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex vendor issues.
  • Proficiency in vendor management software or CRM tools is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
