Job Description

As a Stock Keeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our inventory management. Your main responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the supply chain, manage stock levels, and ensure the accuracy of documentation. You will maintain the organization of the stockroom and ensure that all received goods are in excellent condition, accurately documented, and stored in designated areas. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills will also be crucial, as you will be collaborating closely with other departments to ensure timely dispatch of goods and replenishment of stock.


Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store all incoming shipments in an organized manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock updates in the system.
  • Perform regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure all stock is stored safely and complies with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to reorder low stock items as needed.
  • Prepare inventory reports and analyze stock performances for management review.
  • Implement best practices for efficient stock management and warehouse organization.
  • Facilitate timely delivery of items to the relevant departments within the organization.
  • Conduct routine checks on the efficiency of storage systems and make improvements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to solve delivery issues when they arise promptly.
  • Manage the movement and transfer of goods between different departments or locations.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members in effective inventory handling.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or supply chain roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions based on stock requirements.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal coordination.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, maintaining physical stamina is essential.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to changing work schedules when necessary.
