The Senior Treasury Analyst – Liquidity is responsible for supporting the companys treasury planning and liquidity management activities. The role focuses on short-term cash forecasting, funding analysis, and cash flow monitoring to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and project requirements.
The position requires strong analytical capabilities, forecasting skills, and the ability to work closely with accounting, treasury, operations, and management teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in cash planning, working capital monitoring, and financial analysis within a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Flow Forecasting and Liquidity Planning
Prepare short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasts based on operational requirements and financial data
Monitor projected cash inflows and outflows to identify funding gaps and liquidity requirements
Analyze trends in collections, payments, and operational cash movements
Coordinate with departments regarding projected expenditures and funding schedules
Assist management in liquidity planning and funding allocation decisions
Treasury and Funding Support
Support treasury activities related to cash positioning and fund availability
Assist in planning payment schedules and prioritization of disbursements
Coordinate with banks and treasury teams regarding funding requirements and cash availability
Support working capital monitoring initiatives and liquidity optimization strategies
Monitor compliance with treasury policies and financial controls
Financial Analysis and Reporting
Prepare liquidity reports, cash flow analyses, and funding summaries for management review
Analyze forecast variances and recommend corrective actions when necessary
Assist in evaluating operational spending trends and funding utilization
Provide insights on cash management risks and opportunities
Support management presentations related to liquidity and treasury planning
Process Improvement and Controls
Assist in improving forecasting methodologies and treasury planning processes
Participate in automation and reporting enhancement initiatives
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of treasury planning schedules
Support audit and compliance requirements related to treasury planning activities
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or related course
At least 3–5 years of experience in treasury, liquidity planning, cash forecasting, or financial analysis
Strong forecasting, analytical, and reporting skills
Experience in working capital or cash flow management is preferred
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Familiarity with ERP systems and treasury platforms is an advantage
