Role overview:

The role of the Senior Operations Analyst is to ensure the timely and accurate settlements of cash flows of Interest Rates and Credit Derivatives (IRD and CRD) trades on behalf of the client. This involves both individually conducting pre-settlements check and affirmation of cashflows with counterparties, identifying and resolving any issues that may prevent timely settlement, as well as monitoring that the team is performing the same.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a control layer by detecting, escalating, and resolving booking issues (e.g., incorrect direction, currency, index, notional, counterparty, etc.)
  • Ensure timely settlement of cashflows while identifying and managing risks
  • Adhere strictly to procedures and policies when carrying out assigned work
  • Supervise team activities to ensure compliance with functional mandates
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and act as referral/escalation point for the team
  • Perform control functions, including approving journals and payments
  • Monitor settlements and payment task stations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Support the manager in overseeing execution of the function’s responsibilities
  • Depending on team scope, perform investigation functions as required

Job Requirements

Job requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 18 months of relevant experience with good/performing track record
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, trade life cycle (FO, MO, TMG, confirmations, reconciliations, cash management), and settlements/investigations functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to perform interest cash flow calculations
  • Familiarity with ISDA definitions, market standards, and SWIFT messages (MT101, MT199, MT202/202COV, MT299, MT103)
  • Prior experience with platforms such as Calypso or Summit is an advantage
  • Strong business writing, communication, and customer service skills
  • Able to perform under high-pressure, high-volume environments with flexibility
  • Good to have: VBA knowledge, curiosity in improving processes, and ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders

This is a permanent, full time position located in Quezon City. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
