Remote Painting Estimator / Takeoff Specialist

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Blair Commercial Painting is looking for a Remote Painting Estimator / Takeoff Specialist to support our estimating and sales process. This role is built for someone with hands-on experience completing painting takeoffs, reading plans, organizing project details, and helping prepare accurate estimates for commercial painting opportunities.

This is a remote role for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly in English, and consistently produce accurate, timely takeoff work. Experience with ZZ Takeoff software is required, and experience with HubSpot is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications for commercial painting opportunities
• Complete accurate painting takeoffs using ZZ Takeoff software
• Measure quantities for interior and exterior painting scopes
• Identify project details, scope requirements, exclusions, and potential questions
• Organize takeoff information clearly for estimating and proposal preparation
• Support the estimating and sales team with project documentation and pricing preparation
• Communicate questions, gaps, or scope concerns clearly and promptly
• Maintain organized records of takeoffs, plans, notes, and project information
• Work within company systems and processes to support a smooth estimating workflow
• Collaborate remotely with Blair Commercial Painting team members to help keep opportunities moving forward
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience completing painting takeoffs is required
• Experience using ZZ Takeoff software is required
• Commercial painting estimating or takeoff experience is strongly preferred
• Strong ability to read plans, drawings, and project documents
• Detail-oriented and accurate with measurements, quantities, and scope notes
• Advanced English communication skills are required
• Able to work remotely, stay organized, and manage time independently
• Comfortable using online tools, shared files, and company software
• HubSpot CRM experience is a plus
• Reliable, responsive, and able to follow through on assigned work
  
  

Pay & Benefits

• Full-time, direct-hire position
• 40 hours per week
• Pay: $8.00 to $9.50 per hour, depending on experience, with room for growth
