The Inventory Analyst position is instrumental in ensuring the proper management and accuracy of inventory within our organization. As an Inventory Analyst, you will oversee the inventory levels, ensuring that they are maintained accurately to meet the demands of our operations. • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues in the supply chain.
• Provide regular reports and updates on inventory status to management and relevant departments.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and manage inbound logistics.
• Develop and implement inventory management procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize inventory software to maintain accurate inventory records and facilitate process improvements.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure optimal stock organization and storage methods.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to inventory, such as loss, theft, and damage.
• Assist in the preparation of inventory forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning.
• Train and support staff in inventory management practices and software use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and databases.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage inventory challenges effectively.
