Job Description
- Cuts, trims, washes meats, fish, poultry and vegetables for use
- Assists cooks and assistant cooks by making food items needed in food preparation available
- Assists in dishing out of food
- Brings food conveyors to the wards and distributes food ratios
- Collects all soiled trays used by patients
- Washes and cleans trays used by patients and other kitchen utensils used by kitchen personnel
- Cleans dish-out tables and kitchen work areas before and after use
- Accompanies dietitians in purchasing food supplies
- Disposes garbage, maintains cleanliness of food preparation and food service equipment and all other areas of dietary
- Must be at least High School graduate
