Job Description

As an Electromechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing sophisticated electromechanical systems. This position involves working with both electrical and mechanical components to ensure that equipment and machinery are functioning optimally. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and implementing system upgrades when necessary. Your expertise in interpreting technical manuals and schematics is essential in diagnosing problems and devising effective solutions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on electromechanical systems and components regularly.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement equipment and system upgrades.
  • Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to understand system requirements.
  • Install and configure new electromechanical equipment as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities for future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and protocols.
  • Operate specialized diagnostic tools for system analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Train junior technicians in areas of system maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Assist in inventory management to ensure availability of necessary spare parts.
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members across departments effectively.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in an electromechanical technician role.
  • Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Proficiency in operating specialized diagnostic and repair equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration and reporting.
