Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Test all repaired vehicles to ensure the repair is successful and safe for operation.
• Collaborate with service advisors to provide detailed reports on vehicle conditions.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on customer vehicles for optimal performance.
• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and technological advancements in automotive repair.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and preventive maintenance needs.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and customer satisfaction standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited automotive training program preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record mandatory.
• Proficiency with manual and computerized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with a thorough understanding of automotive systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
