Position Overview

• The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotations for new customer enquiries, primarily based on architectural drawings and project specifications. The role supports the Sales team by handling quoting and administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on client engagement and revenue generation. This position requires strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and align with company culture.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate quotations within required timeframes
• Ensure all non-tender quotations are returned within 24 hours
• Review architectural drawings and extract relevant information for pricing
• Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and provide updates on quote status
• Support the Sales team with quote revisions and related administrative tasks
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or online chat using internal product knowledge
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in all pricing and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• Experience in estimating, quoting, or a similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural or technical drawings.
• Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data and figures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
