Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and statements.
  • Perform data entry and manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently and accurately.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
  • Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and account reconciliation.
  • Manage and update accounting databases using ERP and accounting software platforms.
  • Coordinate with vendors and clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries accurately.
  • Help in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed, including filing documents.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role of at least 1 year.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills required.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
