Job Description

The Accounting Assistant position at 10N25 involves supporting the accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and financial statements regularly.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files according to company policies.
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning operations as required.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle day-to-day transactions, including accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data collection.
  • Prepare and submit sales tax and other financial regulatory documents.
  • Respond to Accounting department inquiries and resolve any issues or errors.
  • Participate in internal audits to ensure financial compliance and integrity.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word applications.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
