The Warehouse Office-in-Charge (OIC) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operations in the absence of the supervisor. The role ensures the proper receipt, documentation, storage, and issuance of materials and tools. The OIC validates all stock transactions and reports, maintains accurate inventory records (system vs. actual), and coordinates with the operations and purchasing teams for material availability. They uphold safety protocols, Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), and housekeeping standards within the warehouse. The OIC also monitors the functionality of materials. Additionally, the OIC supports in training, guiding, and monitoring warehouse personnel to ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Other tasks may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

  • Validate all deliveries, documentation and other reports generated.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for possible warehousing, system and improvements.
  • Coordinate materials/tools availability with the operation and purchasing department.
  • Validate all documents received and issued involving stocks in the warehouse.
  • Ensure proper stacking level of materials on shelves at all times.
  • Organize warehouse tools and materials.
  • Coordinate with the In-house maintenance that the materials handling equipment is maintained functional.
  • Keep track of inventory accuracy. Facilitate scheduled physical cycle counts. Report balance warehouse inventory. Maintain the accuracy of inventory records (System Vs. Actual).
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual warehouse inventory reports.
  • Maintain safety and adherence to work standards and housekeeping in all areas of the warehouse.
  • Document and report all damaged materials coming from storage, from suppliers, and from sites.
  • Review received items (incoming) as well as stocks issuance (outgoing) for completeness and accuracy vs documents.
  • Train, coach and motivate warehouse staff.
  • Monitor implementation and compliance of warehouse staff with our internal company policies, procedures and safety practices.
  • Other tasks may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum: A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Additional certification or training in warehouse management, inventory control, or safety standards (e.g., Forklift Certification).
  • Required: At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Preferred: Experience in overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing stock transactions, or leading a team in a warehouse setting.
