Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and performance reporting.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve targets.
• Experience managing teams of 10-20 logistics and warehouse staff across multiple shifts.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.
  
  

• Oversee the daily operations of the logistics and warehousing teams, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products and deliveries.
• Develop and implement effective inventory management and control systems to optimize storage and distribution.
• Liaise with production, sales and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business needs.
• Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Manage and motivate the logistics team, providing training, guidance and support to drive high performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
