The Treasury Specialist supports the Treasury Operations in developing, maintaining, and enhancing digital tools and automated workflows built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role focuses on enabling automation, improving data processing capabilities, and driving operational efficiencies across Treasury Operations.
The position is suitable for professionals who possess foundational technical skills and a strong interest in low‑code development, AI‑assisted automation, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and eager to deepen expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and emerging AI technologies.
Position Responsibilities
Reporting to the Treasury Manager, Project Delivery & Enablement (GBS), the Treasury Power Platform Analyst will support the team in the following areas:
- Power Platform Development & Support
- Assist in building, updating, and maintaining Treasury Power Apps solutions (Canvas and Model‑Driven).
- Support development and optimization of automated workflows using Power Automate.
- Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and conduct root‑cause analysis.
- Help maintain connectors, environment configurations, and data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and Outlook.
- Data Preparation, Modeling & Integration
- Support data modeling efforts for Treasury Power Apps and Treasury Power BI solutions.
- Assist in preparing, cleaning, transforming, and validating data.
- Conduct testing and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of automated processes.
- AI & Copilot‑Enabled Automation
- Support the design and enhancement of workflows leveraging Microsoft Copilot and AI‑driven capabilities.
- Assist in identifying AI‑use cases suitable for Treasury Operations such as summarization, data extraction, classification, and workflow optimization.
- Participate in prototyping AI‑enabled features and documenting their behavior and impact.
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Identify automation opportunities through process reviews and data insights.
- Document workflows, system changes, requirements, and functional specifications.
- Prepare user guides, training materials, and demo walkthroughs for deployed solutions.
- Project & Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, COEs, and Business Units to gather and validate requirements.
- Participate in design sessions, workshops, and solution‑brainstorming discussions.
- Provide user support and respond to inquiries related to digital tools.
- Operational Excellence & Governance
- Perform periodic monitoring of critical applications and automated workflows.
- Support compliance with governance, documentation standards, and internal controls.
- Track issues, maintain logs, and escalate complex matters to senior team members.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Knowledge of relational databases and data structures.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and adherence to structured development methodologies.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in automation, low‑code development, or analytics.
- Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL is an advantage.
- Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, or SQL databases.
- Familiarity with API connections, environment setups, or data gateways.
- Exposure to ETL workflows and data transformation processes.
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (VBA, Python, SQL) is beneficial.
- Experience with AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
