Operational Support

  • Perform day to day operations for Trade Support, Trade Matching, Trade Settlement or Cash Management functions.
  • Communicate, investigate and resolve trade and cash queries and issues raised by Front Office (Portfolio Managers/Traders) Brokers, Custodians, and Internal Investment teams.
  • Actively manages risks related to trades and cash to avoid failed settlement.
  • Perform periodic trade and cash reporting for Onshore counterparts
  • Improve business processes and controls to mitigate operational risks.
  • Effectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to Manager in a timely manner.
  • Drive process improvements and collaborate with technology partners for data enhancements
  • Provide assistance on projects – to meet Management requirements by doing research, identifying needs, and developing/implementing solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related business-related course
  • Minimum 4 years related work experience, specifically Trade Operations, Middle Office
  • Intermidiate to expert Excel skills
  • Team player
  • Knowledge in securities instruments, operational processes and trade life cycle
  • Good analytical and diagnostic skills with knowledge and understanding of process design, resolving issues with minimal guidance.
  • Attention to Details and keen eye for identifying breaks and mismatches to ensure accuracy of output.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong comprehension and confidence
  • Strong investment, markets and trades knowledge
  • Proactive and willing to thrive in a highly critical function.
  • Demonstrates strong flexibility in the face of ambiguous situations, shifting demands, and challenging work environments.
  • Uses diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations. Escalates serious issues to the Manager.
  • Team player who thrives in team settings by contributing ideas and supporting collective success. Collaborates effectively with colleagues, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment

Domain Knowledge Requirements

  • Understands the concepts surrounding Trade Support functions and the trade life cycle, middle office and trade, settlements and cash management experience is highly preferred.
  • Possesses a fundamental understanding of investment transactions, trade lifecycle, and various asset classes
  • Good working knowledge in using Bloomberg, Blackrocks Aladdin, BBH, Custodian platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge regarding Cash Management, Data Management, Pricing, Settlements,

Reconciliation, Transactions, Transfers processes

  • The candidate must be willing to report in Quezon City
  • The candidate must be willing to work on a fixed day to mid shift schedule, according to business needs
