Job Description

The Sr. Training Specialist reports to the Manager of Learning and Development, they will design and deliver technical courses and skill-based training that align to learning and development priority of the organization.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the execution of business as usual, small-scale training program.
  • Lead or support quick wins process improvements and initiatives that will improve learning and development operations.
  • Lead or support in conceptualization, preparation and implementation of new courses/s.
  • Work and develop relationships with trainers, consultants and learning business partners in delivering function or organization wide learning and development programs or initiatives.
  • Assist in completing the learning numbers and reporting of function and entire organization.
  • Perform and administer external training by connecting to vendors to support the learning and development priorities of the function.
  • Facilitate technical courses and high-priority courses to the employees and/or leaders.
  • Create and maintain a variety of training documents and aids.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in business-related course/programs
  • Must have at least 4-5 years’ experience in Learning and Development/OD/Talent and or related fields combined
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in managing and executing programs
  • Experience in process improvement and project management is a plus
  • Experience in eLearning instructional design is a plus


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Program Design, Delivery and Evaluation
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Agile project management skills
  • Ability to proactively respond to situations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel (i.e. mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables is a must). Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Project.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and adapt to change while managing time and workload with aggressive timelines.
