The Senior Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible for Hong Kong Retirement Finance MIS & Management analysis and reporting processes, supporting the monthly and quarterly financial modeling cycle and driving regional projects and initiatives, and coordinating regional efforts on process standardization and documentation.

We Are Looking For Someone With
- Graduate of Mathematics, Finance, or Business course (Commerce, Accounting, Finance, and Banking), professional certification is an advantage but not required
- 4 years of experience in a Finance role; Group Retirement, Pension, Group Benefits, and Insurance experience would be an advantage.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment while managing multiple, constantly changing priorities and ad-hoc requests
- Knowledge of database reporting tools and systems
- Extensive experience with MS Excel including working with Macros and other Excel add-ins, Macro VBA knowledge is nice to have
- Extensive experience in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL data server, and Power BI
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven self-starter with the ability supervises others and able to work with minimal to no supervision
- Able to foresee and act on difficult situations to be able to coordinate with leader and/or onshore on possible action
- Proactive in executing and owning the processes and controls with the ability to review work from colleagues
- Excels in a team environment interacting with both business and finance colleagues both onshore and offshore
- Experience in working as offsite support to business functions
- Willing to work on a morning schedule with occasional overtime during peak days, especially on quarter end
On The Job You Will
- Responsible for monitoring Hong Kong Retirement Finance Processes
- Support in the monthly close for Hong Kong Retirement Finance. The process includes but is not limited to the preparation of Hong Kong Retirement MIS and Management Report, Flows & Sales Reports and Commentaries, Maintenance of Databases, and Commission Statements.
- Identify and design processes that ensure data integrity and accuracy across the entire organization
- Manage assigned projects and support activities of the team. Ensure prompt collection of specific deliverables and ensure efficiency in project completion
- Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations policies
- To handle the review of general update of flows, sales daily curve, monthly earnings, assets, and deposits
- Review and analyze results with the Expense dashboard prior to sending onshore
- To help review regulatory submissions to upper management
- Run monthly analysis and queries
- To serve as the point person for tasks submitted by MBPS team
- To serve as additional support to Actuarial related tasks in Hong Kong
- Maintain control documentation and prepare audit requests related to internal and external audit requirements
- Be an integral part of regional finance initiatives/projects related to accounting and reporting, including ad hoc business requests.
- Promote a culture of standardization and efficiency
- Trains new resources within the team and in conducting quality checks on the team’s work in certain circumstances
