Senior Financial Analyst – Global Operations
The Senior Financial Analyst – Global Operations, under general supervision, is responsible for conducting complex financial, accounting, and economic analyses, including detailed calculations related to internal and external expense reporting. This role provides a strong opportunity to learn various business functions, understand operating and control environments, contribute to key deliverables, and collaborate with experienced professionals across accounting, audit, and financial reporting.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of expense management, including accounting, reconciliations, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and customer support.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends or anomalies, and provide value-added analysis supported by concise, insightful commentary on areas of focus.
- Deliver monthly expense reports to stakeholders under the shared service model, ensuring data quality and enhancing reporting to meet customer needs.
- Apply strong technical knowledge of expense management, relevant policies, and business context to validate and interpret financial information.
- Exercise sound judgment when addressing unexpected issues, requests, and competing priorities, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Play a key role in Global Operations Finance initiatives, including projects, process improvements, and best‑practice development in expense reporting.
- Recommend and implement efficiencies in data management processes.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately and seek guidance when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field, CPA is a plus
- 5+ years of accounting or finance-related experience, including at least 2 years in financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of PowerBI and Anaplan is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and excellent analytical skills
- Self-starter and team player with a high level of initiative, strong work ethic and the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment
- Recommending and implementing process improvements
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business processes
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with supervision
- Customer-focused mindset and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work overtime or shifts as needed to meet business requirements
