As a Senior Financial Analyst within GWAM & GA Finance – FP&A Asia, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial insights that support strategic decision‑making across Manulife’s Wealth and Asset Management businesses in Asia. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse regional and global stakeholders, contribute to disciplined financial planning and reporting, and help strengthen the integration of Manulife’s global businesses. You will gain deep exposure to complex financial operations, develop your analytical and stakeholder management skills, and make a meaningful impact through continuous improvement and value‑added analysis.

Position Responsibilities

  • Consolidate, analyze, and synthesize complex financial and non‑financial data from multiple Asian markets and stakeholders
  • Prepare accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations
  • Deliver key outputs including Management Decks, WAM MIS reports, quarterly forecasts, sales commentaries, and expense planning and variance analysis
  • Support annual planning and forecasting processes through trend analysis, financial modeling, sensitivities, and performance metrics
  • Enhance and standardize reporting templates, improve processes, and identify efficiency opportunities during month‑end and quarter‑end cycles
  • Partner closely with Hong Kong business units, regional finance teams, and global stakeholders to support reporting, planning, and ad‑hoc analysis
  • Participate in cross‑training, provide support to new team members, and perform quality reviews of team deliverables when required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–4 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and executive‑level presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Wealth and Asset Management or financial services industry
  • Working knowledge of Power BI; experience with Alteryx is a plus
  • Familiarity with IFRS reporting tools such as SmartView (Essbase), Lawson, and eFinance
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to mid‑level management and cross‑functional stakeholders
