Job Summary
The Telecommunication Tower Rigger will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication tower infrastructure and telecommunication equipment. This role involves working at heights to ensure the proper installation of tower components and ensuring that tower operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair telecommunication tower infrastructure, including antennas, cables, and transmission equipment.
Inspect and maintain tower components to ensure they are in good working condition.
Climb telecommunications towers using safety equipment and adhere to strict safety regulations.
Install and remove tower components such as wires, antennas, and cable.
Install and replace transmission equipment, such as radios, amplifiers, and remote control units.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the proper installation of tower components.
Ensure that all tower operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety regulations and protocols.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of tower operations and equipment.
