Job Description

We are looking for Regulatory Issues Remediation Specialist which has a vital role in providing support in the remediation activities as oversight to Enterprise’s regulatory obligations. The Regulatory Issues Remediation Specialist supports the Manager by implementing the end-to-end process for regulatory examinations, external audits, and internal issue remediation. This role ensures the organization is prepared, responsive, and aligned with regulatory expectations, while proactively identifying and resolving compliance gaps. Success in this position requires strong collaboration with internal teams and external regulators to drive effective outcomes and continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assists in the preparation for regulatory examinations by organizing documentation, analyzing regulatory changes, and conducting mock audits.
  • Coordinate post-examination activities, including response drafting, issue tracking, and lessons learned documentation.
  • Provides support in the implementation of remediation efforts in response to regulatory findings and internal audits, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Monitor remediation progress and escalate delays or risks to senior leadership for timely intervention.
  • Develop and manage SMART corrective action plans to address compliance gaps and prevent recurrence.
  • Validate the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions through follow-up reviews and testing.
  • Conduct regular assessments and root cause analysis to identify and address non-compliance.
  • Maintain a centralized issue log to track, monitor, and report on compliance gaps and remediation status.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external regulators to ensure accurate responses and alignment on remediation priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • With at least 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit within financial services
  • Proven strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and examination process
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to Banking, Finance, Insurance, Accounting or related course (nice to have only)

  • Strong written communication and technical writing skills
  • Knowledgeable with compliance frameworks and controls
  • Strong ethical compass and discipline
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and independently
  • Ability to set priorities, managing overlapping timelines and competing demands
  • Ability to represent business internally within the company and externally outside of the company (e.g. regulators, industry peers) as needed
