Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Software Developer youll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Youll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

• Specializes in creating and maintaining database applications for various platforms, including Linux, Unix, and Windows. Proficient in writing code in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and DB2 application development for LUW (Linux, Unix, and Windows).
• Responsible for designing, developing, and testing database applications, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and meet the required specifications.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL programming.
  
  

• At least 6 years of proven experience in RDBMS development with strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
• Proficiency in database design, normalization, and indexing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Amenable to work in a client-dictated shift (day, mid, or night).
• Open to work at any IBM site (Quezon City or Cebu).
