Purchasing Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and canvassing suppliers for price quotations.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and other related documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, deliveries, and schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, suppliers, and pricing.
• Monitor and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of items.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Officer/Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding procurement requests and requirements.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned related to procurement and supply chain.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing and inventory processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Can work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
